The Nordic Harbor Inn was a beautiful and welcoming place to stay; we will definitely be back!! They thought of everything when making renovations to make this your home away from home. Nic proactively reached out to make the check in process a breeze as well. The rooms are right on the bay of the lake and have a patio with chairs and a fire table where you can relax and unwind!

This place is the most perfect stay. I felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel, but I had the privacy, view, and feel of a cabin tucked away in the woods due to the private deck overlooking the lake. There are tons of great restaurants nearby, and we made the short drive to Interstate State Park to do a hike as well.
We feel relaxed, refreshed, and also like we had a lot of fun.

If Nordic hospitality can be summed up in the word, Hygge, Nic has nailed it. Convenient, curated, comfortable, & concise your needs are anticipated before you arrive & think of them. Upon entering the space the exhaustion of the day slips away, and the invitation to rest and relax surrounds you. What a gift he and his family have given to this little corner of the world, a perfect frame for the nature that surrounds you and respite after a day’s adventure. The building is so beautifully positioned that if you wish, the morning sunrise can be seen through the glass patio door and the evening sunset through the double windows on the other side of you. Both views are over a lake full of jumping game fish, water foul, and boats. This morning, I enjoyed a loon stretching and flapping its wings after a morning dive. I love what I have tasted of the host’s wonderful vision to welcome weary travelers or be a the perfect set up for enjoying nearby Taylor’s Falls, local events, & restaurants.On top of all that, Nordic Harbor has a peaceful rooftop bar with gorgeous views, delicious drinks, and plenty of snacks, including charcuterie boards from their on-site store. They did not skimp on anything when building Nordic Harbor and we absolutely loved it. We will be back, thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
