My goodness, what an adorable spot! The room was just as pictured. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the extra touches ( real plant, a French press, slippers, sleep mask, heated bathroom floor, comfy linens). The rooftop bar was great! There was live music and we had the BEST spiked hot chocolate. It made for a wonderful winter evening. I would definitely recommend

We travel a LOT. Hotels and home rentals. These folks did it right. Took what I assume was an old roadside motel and upscaled it into the perfect retreat. They thought of everything, which is rare – glasses, paper towels, bath amenities, usb outlets, seats in front and in back of unit, etc. And the decor and furnishings felt high end. The cherry on top was the onsite deck bar which allowed us to have a night cap when we returned from the wedding we were there for. Just really nice execution. Thanks!

Wonderful stay at Nordic Harbor. Can’t recommend highly enough. It’s clear Nic put a lot of heart and thought into the design of each room. Everything was spotless. The bathroom has heated floors, shower gorgeous, plenty of modern built-in storage, bed was cozy, and the patio w/ the fire pit overlooking the lake was everything we could have hoped for.
On top of all that, Nordic Harbor has a peaceful rooftop bar with gorgeous views, delicious drinks, and plenty of snacks, including charcuterie boards from their on-site store. They did not skimp on anything when building Nordic Harbor and we absolutely loved it. We will be back, thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I live nearby but wanted to check out the newly remodeled motel and support the local owners. We were very impressed with our one night stay. Nic and his family did an amazing job with the remodel. The rooms and the market are modern with charming Scandinavian details. The rooftop bar had a handful of delicious cocktails. The market had everything we needed for a charcuterie plate on our private patio. There were lake views out both sides of our room. This area was desperate for a higher end experience and Nordic Harbor delivered. We absolutely will be recommending it to friends and family when they visit the area.
