Silver Birch

Room 6 silver birch was amazing for a short two night getaway with my wife. Room was cozy with just the right amount of space with a great private patio space. When you’re not out exploring there are Smart TVs so it was nice cozying up on the couch with a blanket at night. Great space overall! You will not be disappointed with this space. If Nic’s other spaces are anything like this one, you will not be disappointed.
Also the little liquor store, market, gelato, and rooftop bar was fantastic. The rooftop bar has tasty drinks, a great view and atmosphere. For those with food sensitivities the market was absolutely amazing for my wife who has Celiacs. There were so many gluten free options provided in their market which truly made a difference for a relaxing getaway as we didn’t have to worry about a grocery haul or finding restaurants that could safely accommodate.

We stayed the night at The Nordic Haus motel in room 6 called Silver Birch and it was very nice. The furnishings are very comfortable and tastefully Scandinavian which makes for a serene feeling immediately! The bed is cozy and the pillows are amazing!
Nic went over and above to make us feel welcome and at home. This was a staycation birthday getaway and we will be back!

Charming, thoughtfully decorated, pristine. Great place for families and girls weekends. Love the option of renting multiple rooms and the neighboring house for larger gatherings. Nic was friendly and attentive. It was easy to find and the location was perfect. There is an adorable small park a short walk away. There are several yummy small-town restaurants across the road – and many more a short drive away. Although it is geographically close to the metro area, it really felt a world away. There’s so much to do around here (or, if you just need to do a bunch of nothing, this place is also perfect for that!)
This is our new favorite Minnesota slice of “hygge”. I am so glad we stumbled upon it! We will definitely be back.On top of all that, Nordic Harbor has a peaceful rooftop bar with gorgeous views, delicious drinks, and plenty of snacks, including charcuterie boards from their on-site store. They did not skimp on anything when building Nordic Harbor and we absolutely loved it. We will be back, thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Cute place! So clean and modern and comfortable. We came in the fall but can’t wait to go back in the summer for more lake time. We were here to visit family and this will absolutely be our new go-to place to stay!! I promise you won’t find anything better in the area!!! Gorgeous property inside and out!!!
